There are three ways to Make a Difference

Lend Support:

Something as simple as linking to this site or sending letters or emails to Congress will provide great support.  Even just displaying a sticker on your car is important and significant.

This year we are also hoping to acquire corporate and nonprofit sponsors in order to be able to obtain funds to sponsor writing, and business contests at participating schools. 

So simply talking to professors, authors, business people and students to get them interested and aware of the idea and to help spread the word would provide significant assistance. Each of us can only talk to 2-3 people per day so simply talking and spreading the word is fantastic.

Make a Donation: 

We know the economy is tough but if you can afford to spend a some money we use it all for distributing stickers. In bulk, they cost us around $.20 each. When you purchase stickers we will of course ship you the specified number so you can hand them out. The balance of the monies from your sticker order go to purchase additional stickers to handout for free at schools, events, and in Washington, D.C. at the Aerospace museum. In 2010 we will also be looking to add College and University Chapters and hope to be able to ship 500 or more stickers to each chapter when established.

In 2008, we distributed 42,000 stickers. In 2009, we distributed in excess of 200,000. It is your donation that allows us to do this. All these orders are processed securely by Abn Study Partner who does so at the dead cost and who also ships all the orders as well. Not only do they do this, they also have donated $5,000 each year to purchase additional stickers they handout to all of their customers. Their employees have also donated their time and handout stickers in Washington, D.C.

 We currently have 4922 “Space Cadets” and hope to recruit many more this year.

Donate Professional Skills:

We are seeking a number of different types of professionals to lend their expertise. We need a Scientific Advisory Board, a Political Advisory Board, a CFO, a COO, and Chapter recruiters at Universities and Colleges. We need nonprofit fund raisers to help raise monies for prizes for student writing contests and business school competitions.

We will be creating school chapters to participate in various programs. We need professors to establish chapters at their school. We hope to raise modest sums of money from corporate sponsors to hold writing and business conferences and award prizes to students for essays or prizes to business schools for their winning presentations on issues related to Taking NASA Public.

 We are hoping to brand the name “Space Cadet” and find manufacturers to assist us by making Space Cadet coffee cups, and T-Shirts etc, and using the monies to fund the student chapters and writing contests. We need a manufacturer who can logistically manage that process and fill orders with a modest profit for his or her company, provide an accounting of the profits, and provide a donation for the rest of the profits to the contests.
